Data Deletion

Registered sellers can request shop disconnection, account deletion or deletion of their organisation's SmashOrder data.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email from the registered organisation administrator's address to support@smashorder.com.
2. Include the account email, organisation name, connected shop name and the type of request: account deletion, shop disconnection, buyer-record deletion, or full organisation deletion.
3. We will verify the requester's authority before taking action.

What happens next

OAuth credentials are revoked or invalidated, scheduled synchronisation stops, and data within the approved scope is deleted or irreversibly de-identified. We will acknowledge the request and normally complete verified requests within 30 days.

Limited retention

Security logs, financial records or evidence required by law may be retained for the applicable period. Retained records remain access-restricted and are not used for other purposes.

Marketplace requests

Disconnecting SmashOrder does not delete information held by Etsy or another marketplace. Requests concerning marketplace-held data must be submitted directly to that provider.
